If you want to learn how to preserve food, fine - I can help with that. But holding a bunch of it at your place in case you run out isn't right. If everyone did that, we'd all run out of food - I've seen it happen before.

Was talking about someone else about trial mix and drying stuff but I don't come with this kind of knowledge and I don't really know a lot of people who do.

That's great. I can put my 'fictional worlds' knowledge to use too. I will be honest with you, though, I don't even know where to start. I have the basics down, like that multiple stashes are a good thing to have in case one location is inaccessible and that it's better to have multiple people in charge of their locations but--
Seriously, I started cooking only when I arrived here, the actual preparation is a big question mark for me.
[Almost everyone in his reality knows at least a thing or two about properly preserving and storing food in case of an emergency - probably because emergencies always seemed to be happening. That never ended.]
I work with all of the local food suppliers, so I'll get everything together. I wouldn't sneeze at some shards if you feel like forking them over. We'll get as much dry food as we can, then work on preserving everything else. I'll teach you how, and then you can take over and teach others, too.
